Harare, (New Ziana) – The Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ) on Monday launched its Client Service Charter in Harare, reaffirming its commitment to transparent, accountable and responsive service delivery.
The launch was attended by various stakeholders, including community pharmacists and representatives of veterinary surgeons.
The Charter was developed, and is managed in line with the standards outlined in ISO 9001:2025 (Quality Management Systems), the World Health Organisation (WHO) Global Benchmarking Tool, and other standards and guidelines adopted by MCAZ.
These frameworks support the Authority’s commitment to continually improving the quality and efficiency of its services.
In a statement, MCAZ said the Charter sets out its service commitments and delivery timelines, enabling clients and stakeholders to understand the services available, the requirements for accessing them and the standards they should expect.
“The launch also provided an opportunity for stakeholders to engage with the relevant divisions, gain a better understanding of their service commitments and discuss how MCAZ can continue improving service delivery.
“The effective implementation of the Charter requires collective responsibility, clear communication and a shared commitment to meeting established service standards.
MCAZ reaffirmed its commitment to serving stakeholders with professionalism, integrity and accountability.
